The photoperiod version of this strain was the first ever cannabis plant specifically engineered for growing indoors, and even today is difficult to beat in terms of ease. It the perfect strain for first time growers. Expect intense effects for both the mind and body, couch locking the gun-ho and the uninitiated. However, when a heavy stone is what you need, this is the strain to do it. Much like the original it has high CBD levels making it a fantastic smoke even if you have a little too much. It’s of a medium height, reaching anywhere from 90 to 110cm indoors, meaning it needs a little space. Harvest will happen between 85 to 90 days. It is a plant which requires a little patience, but will generously reward those who give it a little time. Outdoors, you can harvest anytime between April and November, making it versatile and adaptable to different climates. It remains fairly short, too. 160cm is likely to be the highest it gets even outdoors, meaning you don’t need huge amounts of space to grow Auto Northern Lights XXL. As usual, expect bigger yields and sagging branches if cultivated outdoors.
