Gelonade is a strain which doesn’t try anything fancy, it’s just strong, classic skunk. Heralding from Gelato #41 and Lemon Skunk, it’s got some potent lineage to boast about. Gelato #41 is itself a descendant from Girl Scout Cookies, an all round favourite for taste and power. Gelonade is Sativa leaning. Only just though. Edging over, just 60% to 40%, this is a well balanced strain. The THC levels will sit around 20%, making it very potent, but not blow-your-head-off-strong. It treads a perfect middle ground which suits everybody – perfect for sharing!

The Sativa really shows through with both the look and growth time. Growing fast, it can be ready in as little as 49 days indoors, and at most 56. The end of September is the outdoor harvest time, so it’s more suited to more northerly grows than many other plants. Indoors and outdoors the yields are good: 550gr/m2 or 550gr per plant, respectively. To look at, it’s a vibrant green and tapers off to a point. If you imagine a classic Sativa strain, it looks like that. It should reach a medium height by the time it is fully grown. Equally well suited to indoor and outdoor grows, it’s a perfect choice for those who want versatility and reliability.

Speedy and Generous!

It’s got a fresh, almost tingly taste. Sherbet and bananas dominate, making for a surprisingly fruity smoke. Underpinning it all though is that rich, ripe lemon dankness which reminds you exactly what you’re smoking.
